Supervision

Supervision

I supervise individuals with a Masters degree who have registered with their Boards for the LCSWA, LCMHCA and LCASA and seek full licensure.  As a North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board Certified Clinical Supervisor, I supervise individuals with a Masters degree, Bachelors degree, or other academic diplomas who are seeking substance abuse credentials including the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC Intern, CADC), Certified Prevention Consultant, Certified Criminal Justice Professional, and the supervisor credential (CCSI, CCS).

I specialize in assisting individuals who seek dual licensure – combining the substance use license with either the clinical mental health counselor or clinical social worker license.

I work with many clinicians who provide services at agencies endorsed by one or more or North Carolina’s LME/MCO entities.  Those services include: Intensive In-Home (IIH), Multi-Systemic, Community Support Team (CST), Assertive Community Team (ACT), Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment (SAIOP) and others.  I know the service definitions and those requirements in addition to the clinical and practical matters you address on a daily basis in your system of care.
